Building digital photo frames for family and friends using open-source
hardware and free software.

As I recently became a father I was more or less forced by many to
share photos of our lovely son. At the same time it became evident
that our internet traffic is monitored and captured and even worse
that you can't trust your hardware. First of all this is a political
and social problem, but it likely will need some time to get that
fixed. That was the reason to build digital picture frames for family
and friends using open-source hardware and free software that allow to
share photos via internet while at least trying to protect our
privacy.
