haven't read all of the discussion but i would like to comment against the inclusion of email, and propose anonymous remailers like a mixmaster setup with some new GUI/web based that will be easy to use. <br><br><div class="gmail_quote">

</div>I didn't mean to suggest this was an insurmountable hurdle and that<br>
all or even most ISPs were hostile - just that the default situation<br>
is that these things cannot be assumed to work out-of-the-box.<br>
<br>
Adding "call your ISP and ask them to open up ports" to the FreedomBox<br>
installation sequence is not exactly a plug-and-play experience. :-)<br>
This would be a massive usability problem. For some of the things<br>
people want to do, it may be necessary though.<br>
