I think the problem is that I have a really old version of multistrap (em_multistrap 0.0.8).<br><br>I installed it with apt-get, but I'm on an older version of Ubuntu rather than a recent Debian.<br><br>I'll figure this out myself, I'm sure freedom-maker is fine, sorry for spamming the list.<br>

Are you trying to make the dreamstick target (just running "make")? If<br>
so, I haven't been able to test it fully, thanks to my box refusing to<br>
boot from USB drive (which is new, it used to). If you're following<br>
Nick Hardiman's instructions for changing the microSD card, you<br>
shouldn't be seeing those errors.<br>

Also, look at the README in the freedom-maker/ directory, it contains<br>
slightly updated versions of the instructions (your "mkdir" comment was<br>
included, for example).<br>
