<i>apt remove</i> followed by <i>apt install </i>(via the shell)
should do the trick. Apt doesn't delete any configuration files nor
logs etc. when removing packages; so if you want to completely
remove the package first (including configuration files etc.) use <i>apt
purge </i>instead of <i>apt remove</i>.<br>
