Bryan, by all means feel free to be "skeptical and incredulous", as well
as to believe that "Debian" (whatever it means for you in this context)
does not really want to be free.

But please keep in mind that the target audience of this list are people
--- be them Debian or FSF contributors --- that are not as skeptical.
More precisely, it is for people who believe they could do something on
their own, in their spare time, to *challenge* such skepticism, without
preconception on their peers on this list. I believe that preconceptions
(and fingerpointing, if ever) wouldn't help obtaining a result that, I
hope, we could agree on. In fact, I think that preconceptions would work
*against* such result.
