I'm not sure what you mean by referring to this link, perhaps you can
clarify it?

If you are referring to the "Debian accepts no responsibility" and
"Debian does not generally monitor its mailing lists for inappropriate
postings, and does not undertake editorial control of postings", I
think, this conflicts with the free distro evaluation checklist [1]:

"If the distribution has forums where users can post what the like
(mailing lists, web forums, wikis, etc.) check over those to see if
recommendations for or discussion about nonfree software appear
regularly. They shouldn't be a common occurrence, and they should be
discouraged if someone brings them up."
