[Git-dpm-user] How can I change the commit messages associated with git-dpm import-dsc?

Is there any easy way to alter the commit messages of the commits created by
git-dpm import-dsc?

According to the manual page many of the commands have a -m switch, but
import-dsc does not seem to.

Thank You.
