I think that we don't share what's better here.  I put a different
change today.

I don't have any idea to support many (proprietary) card readers for the
development of Gnuk and GnuPG.  I don't want to put many card reader
information to the Gnuk source code.  The Gemalto is supported, because
I have one.

I didn't and I don't suggest buying Gemalto's.

I think that it it better for us to implement free card reader.  I mean,
reference hardware design and firmware implementation by free software.

Well, in this situation, it would be better I don't answer directly.

I maintain GnuPG for years.  Some people sent me Yubikey implementation,
card reader, suggested sending more.  But I only do some reverse
engineering thing, when I really need.  Example was: ST-Link/V2 support
in 2010.
