Missing configure script?

Hi  Eric,

I think by now (sorry for the delay...) you figured out that you had to run
autogen.sh.

However I tend to think that we should provide "./configure". The
"autoreconf" part (emulated with autogen.sh) should be done by the project
developers so that the deployment on other machines does not involve a
dependency on autoconf tools (but rather on perl & make). That's why I left
it intentionally in the project, originaly.
