Huh?  If you want linux-wlan-ng kernel modules for use with the official
Debian kernels, you have to build them using linux-wlan-ng-source.
Therefore, if this problem does not occur with the official Debian kernels,
linux-wlan-ng-source is not "unusable or mostly so"; it's usable by anyone
running the standard Debian kernels, and by anyone running non-standard
kernels if specific kernel options are turned on.  So unless I've
misunderstood something, this bug is not "grave".

That's a valid request; it doesn't justify a grave-severity bug, though.
