yes i know.
it's on my todo, not at all high ranked although.
the last time i sent a patch to the ntp maintainers,
they managed to merge a broken egrep rule #283386.

rules inside of logcheck-database are usually better maintained,
even if package maintainer should better know the logs there
packages omit. these extern rules are also bad for logserver
where typicaly those rule are missing (not all packages installed).
