Summary: minicom can't cope with unicode

Initial Comment:
when running minicom on a unicode capable console, the graphical characters are completely messed up, since minicom doesn't know about unicode. Don't know exactly if this would have to be fixed in ncurses?

i have same problem with minicom and Fedora Core 4.
