I have been subscribed to networkmanager-list@gnome.org for some time now and I am impressed by the amount of activity there. We should certainly be planning to adopt nm in Debian, hopefully with adaptations that make it use the configs in /etc/network/interfaces by default. For now I am waiting for a usable nm package to appear in ubuntu. -- Thomas
