From michael.hudson at canonical.com Thu Jun 15 02:18:51 2017 From: michael.hudson at canonical.com (Michael Hudson-Doyle) Date: Thu, 15 Jun 2017 14:18:51 +1200 Subject: [Neurodebian-devel] upgrading pandas to 0.20.2 Message-ID: Hi there, I'm working on the transition to Python 3.6 in Ubuntu. One of the packages that does not build with Python 3.6, but it looks like this is fixed in the latest upstream release. I've had a bit of a poke at the upgrade (you can see my effort at https://launchpad.net/~mwhudson/+archive/ubuntu/devirt/+packages?field.name_filter=pandas) but it seems to be quite a big job :) (the part that has me stumped for now is around the switch from nose to pytest and how to skip the tests that depend on the network). So I thought I'd take a step back and ask: do you guys have plans for getting pandas 0.20.2 into Debian (presumably after stretch release, but that's not long now)? Do you have anything I can look at, or help with? Cheers, mwh -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:
