[Nut-upsdev] newhidups (2.03-pre2) not working with APC Back-UPS

That seems bizarre. The variable HOME is mentioned nowhere in NUT,
except once in a text string:

$ cd nut/
$ grep HOME * */*
configure:for instance \`--prefix=\$HOME'.

I cannot imagine how it should cause a crash. -- Peter
