It can't be done. Upgrade to the latest version (nut-2.4.1) and you'll find that the man page for snmp-ups mentions why this will never be possible and what you might do about it.<br>

version 2.4.1 and have learn, that the shutdown function will not be
implemented due to early shutdown networking, but apc smart have
special function described as shutdown delay that could be useful in
