Hi,<br><br>I tested somany times liebert-esp driver on my ups.<br><br>I found/gave two (bug)/error :<br><br>first,<br><br>I ran /usr/local/ups/bin/upsdrvctl start and driver didnt start<br>I gave this error:<br>ESP-II capable UPS not detected<br>
<br>I know that it is in upsdrv_initinfo function and I think ups didnt gave answer, but I dont know why?<br><br>second,<br>I ran /usr/local/ups/bin/upsdrvctl start and<br>ups shutdown itself and I dont know why?<br>do you have any idea ?<br>
How can I debug this ? <br>I would like use the liebert-esp2 in debug mode and write in a logfile the output of driver, maybe it help for me.<br><br>I know that I need run the driver like this : /path/to/liebert-esp2 -DD -a liebert-esp2 but If I use this liebert-esp -DD -a liebert-esp >> logfile <- it doesnt work<br>

Please be specific in your questions. If you want to know how to log debug messages in a driver, use the upsdebug_* functions (examples are in the driver already). If you want to know how to run a driver in debug mode, try running it with -h on the command line and/or read 'man 8 nutupsdrv'.<div class="im">

Because I work on it liebert-esp2 driver shutdown function and<br>
if I put the commands in updateinfo funciton and call it manual that it<br>
works fine.<br>
