There is already a patch applied to the file that generates the udev rules, but at the moment, it only gets triggered when you do a 'make dist':<br>

But in this case, we need the template to be generated before the configure call.<br>
<br>IMO, the best solution here is for such users to use the snapshots instead of the SVN.<br>SVN checkout should really be reserved to developers, not users in need of the latest developments.<br>We may also add a warning or a command (make refresh) to ensure everything is up to date without the need to call make dist.<br>
