Hi There, i have a strange problem with a fenton powerpal 660. When you
switch off the power to the UPS (from the wall), the server (IBM xSeries
203) attached to it dies...However, if you unplug the cable from the
server to the UPS and plug it back in again (with the power still out to
the UPS), the server starts up again (set to power up after a power
failure) and runs with no issues. I have noticed a "Wiring Fault" light
on the back when you do this...

There is also a strange reading from the battery..

dev:~# upsc powerpal at localhost
battery.charge: -143.2
battery.voltage: 13.3
driver.name: fentonups
driver.parameter.port: /dev/ttyS0
driver.version: 2.0.1
driver.version.internal: 1.22
input.frequency: 50.0
input.transfer.high: 284
input.transfer.low: 168
input.voltage: 233.0
output.voltage: 232.0
ups.load: 011
ups.mfr: Fenton
ups.model: PowerPal 660
ups.status: OL

Any help is well appreciated.

Simon
