to write all
these letters "just for fun".

As for changing MAXAGE directive - with values 60 and greater ups become
available from pc, at least i can see it's state with upsc. But in
/var/log/messages we can see next:

Dec 29 17:13:37 zork3 upsd[14370]: UPS [MGE-Ellipse] data is no longer stale
Dec 29 17:13:39 zork3 upsd[14370]: Data for UPS [MGE-Ellipse] is stale -
check driver
Dec 29 17:13:39 zork3 upsd[14370]: UPS [MGE-Ellipse] data is no longer stale
Dec 29 17:13:42 zork3 upsd[14370]: Data for UPS [MGE-Ellipse] is stale -
check driver
Dec 29 17:13:42 zork3 upsd[14370]: UPS [MGE-Ellipse] data is no longer stale
Dec 29 17:13:44 zork3 upsd[14370]: Data for UPS [MGE-Ellipse] is stale -
check driver
Dec 29 17:13:44 zork3 upsd[14370]: UPS [MGE-Ellipse] data is no longer stale
Dec 29 17:13:47 zork3 upsd[14370]: Data for UPS [MGE-Ellipse] is stale -
check driver
Dec 29 17:13:47 zork3 upsd[14370]: UPS [MGE-Ellipse] data is no longer stale
Dec 29 17:13:50 zork3 upsd[14370]: Data for UPS [MGE-Ellipse] is stale -
check driver
Dec 29 17:13:50 zork3 upsd[14370]: UPS [MGE-Ellipse] data is no longer stale

I'm not sure that it's good desision to leave this "as is". Am i right?
