Looks like it should be easy to fix. The attached patch should work against 2.6.5. Assuming that you are using EPEL, you can grab the SRPM from here:

http://www.rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/epel/6/x86_64/nut-2.6.5-2.el6.x86_64.html
