Merged into pu. I don't plan to merge this patch since it doesn't
implement what looks most reasonable: having custom flags in the local
maildir could cause more harm than good (we don't know what users
softwares would handle unexpected flags).

I didn't have much time to look further so I may be wrong in the patch
description. Please review the 0243589257baaf commit message.
