[parted-devel] Parted 1.8.0rc1 changes.

I had pointed out certain issues in the 1.7.x code in the above mail,
which are not included in the 1.8.0rc1 tarball too. I do not know
whether they are really a problem, but would like to hear your opinion
on them.
