[parted-devel] RfD: Do not clobber the BootCode in GPT PMBRs

Hi,

I propose to have libparted not clobber the BootCode area in the PMBR
when editing GPT labels.

Reasoning:

There is no way to partition current RAID-Devices (and single disks in
2009) utilizing their full capacity without destroying the only
supported mean of booting in current consumer x86 systems.

Are there any specific reasons why not clobbering the BootCode area
might be A Bad Thing?
