In theory, when you release the next version, parted.pot should be
updated (by make), and the free translation project should
automatically download the parted tarball, and get parted.pot.
This thens get sent to the translators, who then upload new
translation files (XX.po).  Finally, the free translation project
robot then emails us with the .po files, which we then put in
po/XX.po.

To force po/parted.pot to be regenerated, you need to run config.status
which regenerates po/POTFILES, and then type "make parted.pot", IIRC.
