Hi,

the introduction of patch gptsync.patch in parted 2.3-14 causes the
access of filesystem, which is an issue on Hurd when done (directly on
indirectly) when bootstrapping the translator of the root fs
(libparted is indirectly used to check for handling user-space
partition stores).

The workaround is disabling the DMI detection on Hurd, as it is unlikely
Apple hardware is used for it; attached the updated gptsync.patch.
