[Pbuilder-maint] Bug#367135: pbuilder: /etc/mtab symlink errors

Package: pbuilder
Version: 0.152
Severity: normal

Hi,

every time while extracting the .tgz and setting up the build
environment, the following error message is printed:

ln: creating symbolic link `/tmp/pbuilder/build/25744/etc/mtab' to
`../proc/mounts': File exists

indicating there would be something wrong.

I found two different /etc/mtab files in newly created base.tgz files:
a) with cdebootstrap: the proper symlink is already in place and no
   error should be printed
b) with debootstrap: /etc/mtab is a regular file with information about
/proc and /sys and should probably be replaced
