[Pcsclite-muscle] R: support for omnikey 3921 with ISSI24C02 card

Hello,

thanks for clarifications. We contacted HID and they have a proprietary driver to add support for those cards.

Unfortunately the driver is compiled only for x86 platform or for Windows systems on ARM. There is no compiled version for linux Yocto on ARM.

Best Regards

Nicola

LOG: attached

Hope you can help us to solve this problem

You should not configure OpenCT in /etc/reader.conf.d/openct.conf if the driver library is not present.

Your log contains:

The reader can't power up the card.

>From http://www.chinarfidcard.com/issi-24c02-contact-ic-card.html it looks like the ISSI24C02 card is a memory card and not a microprocessor card.

I don't know if the Omnikey 3921 reader can use memory cards. Maybe using a proprietary driver? You should ask Omnikey for support.

Bye
