 The version module implements version objects and provides Perl's
 version object API.

This module is also available in perl, but a newer version is required
by other modules.  Perl 5.12 would include a version recent enough, but
as far as I know it has not yet been decided which version Squeeze will
ship with.  For this reason I plan to have a separate package for now.
