I've updated this against sid today, which adds in new package
versions, and also some packages that couldn't previously be built.

In addition:

- A couple of patches are modified from sid:
  <http://people.debian.org/~dom/perl/test/NOTES.txt>
- linux-2.6 is now involved in the transition owing to the dependency
  of linux-tools-2.6.37 on libperl5.10
