Update: there's now an upstream fix in blead at
 http://perl5.git.perl.org/perl.git/commit/c2a50ddb1bed657609ef5e85c7ac5c0bfcaa2c9a
and a suggested improvement to that which is not in blead yet at
 http://perl5.git.perl.org/perl.git/commit/f61a27cade956988ec6c5ff53b8aff3492ca5839

I think we should upload 5.18.0-2 to experimental with both of those
but I don't expect to be able to do so any time soon.
