Package: perl
Version: 5.18.1-5
Followup-For: Bug #604128

Dear Maintainer,

Error occurred on a fresh installed Wheezy with kernel 3.12 from backports and broke the dist-upgrade. Used system is a Samsung NC10 netbook running kernel 3.12 from backports and SLiM DM with XFCE4 and i3 WM. The rest of the Wheezy installation is default.

   * What led up to the situation?

Distro upgrade from wheezy to jessie

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

change wheezy to jessie in /etc/apt/sources.list
apt-get update && apt-get upgrade
apt-get dist-upgrade

   * What was the outcome of this action?

De-configuring udev (175-7.2) ...
Unpacking consolekit (0.4.6-3+b1) over (0.4.5-3.1) ...
Replacing files in old package udev (175-7.2) ...
Preparing to unpack .../archives/udev_204-6_i386.deb ...
Moving obsolete conffile /etc/init.d/udev-mtab out of the way...
*** Error in `/usr/bin/perl': corrupted double-linked list: 0x09e280f0 ***

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

Including a reboot a working Jessie :-)
