This was fixed as a side effect of Pod::Perldoc switching its
default formatter to the "ToTerm" backend instead of "ToMan"
in 3.20, bundled with Perl 5.20.

I see the groff suggestion is still there. I expect groff-base
would be enough. I wouldn't really like to drop it altogether
as 'perldoc -oman' still uses it.
