Another nit I forgot to mention here: some of the subjects are
RFC2049-encoded, for instance

which looks very ugly. I'm not thrilled about making debian/gen-patchlevel
decode those (in sh+sed?!) at build time though.  Probably we just need
to tolerate those.

(In fact, the above subject seems to have a double-encoding error
or something like that as both mutt and Encode::MIME::Header show me
  [perl #123712] Don’t check sub_inwhat
So never mind...)
