If you are doing a point release for some other reason then adding
them in would be nice, but I agree that it's pretty esoteric and
probably only useful to me :-)

Yes. I filed this because it's how I got it done initially. I'll generate an
update for the current perl version for you to ship with the package.

(I'll be re-doing the bootstrap in unstable shortly).
