Hi, perl_5.28.1-6 in sid cross builds fine for me with build arch=amd64,
host arch=arm64.

Cross building fails for unknown architectures because the Configure
script wants to probe the system by running host arch executables.
See #775940.

I don't understand how your patch could help. Does it actually fix
something for you?
