Hello Sandro,
Note that there is a list to ask questions about ACE+TAO debian packages
(CC'ed).
Because I'm using Debian and ACE at work, I'm maintaining an unofficial
ACE+TAO package that is more up-to-date than the official one in Debian.
It also includes an mpc package - but still no package for cidlc. The
current version of those packages has upstream version 5.4.2.1 because I
have backported a fix from the CVS version of ACE+TAO.
I'd be happy to share my work with anyone and can post a patch against
ACE 5.4.2 upon request. Or I could set up a deb-src repository, but I
don't know how to do that.
You can give a try to those packages by adding the following line to
your /etc/apt/sources.list:
deb http://thomas.g.girard.free.fr/ace ./
> - This debian packages are as stable as the last beta release ?
Some bug fixes have been backported into the Debian official packages,
many don't. See http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?src=ace for
a list of bugs in the official Debian package. Many of these are fixed
upstream.
With regard to CCM, I can't help you.
HTH,
Thomas
