Hi,
    I tested REACTION_SEPARATION branch under Win32. I made only small 
modifications to three *.mpb files. My tests included
QtReactor and FlReactor as I do not have neither Tk nor X11 (are there 
any for win32? can we use X11 under cygwin?). The results
are as follows:
1. Reactors compile nicely.
2. ACE passes tests of QtReactor and FlReactor.
3. TAO compiles with new features.
4. TAO tests for QtReactor and FlReactor fail for some unknown reasons.
    Shortly, everything works well on ACE level, but TAO GUI reactors 
are buggy.

    Nevertheless, I propose to merge REACTOR_SEPARATION branch if my 
results are conformed and changes are accepted as
I suppose that failures in TAO are not implied by my modifications. I 
checked out and compiled the main trunk and found
out that TAO tests also fail in the same way. Well, these bugs should be 
removed, but the REACTOR_SEPARATION branch was
dedicated to deal with TAO bugs.  And, the longer the branches  are 
distinct the harder is the merging.
