[Pkg-ace-devel] ACE and TAO in Debian 7

Andre,

TAO was removed, as far as I know, because of some perceived licensing issues by the Debian folks.  Anyway, the ACE/TAO folks have made debian packages available over at opensuse.  Add the following line to your sources.list file:

deb http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/devel:/libraries:/ACE:/micro/Debian_6.0/ ./

Of course you can always build from source.  If you do this, I think you would be better off building both ACE and TAO rather than trying to use packages for ACE and source for TAO.  When you download the ACE/TAO source, there are instructions for building included.
