Package: alsa-base
Version: 1.0.9b-2
Severity: normal

In /etc/alsa/default there is the line:

force_unload_modules_before_suspend="none"

But in the init.d script it only skips the unload for
force_unload_modules_before_suspend set to false or "". So for none it
runs "force_unload_modules none" which doesn't unload any modules but
first does kill_procs_using_sound.

The reason I report this is because I'm pretty sure I didn't put the
'none' there. Should also maybe have some info in /etc/default/alsa for
what to enter to have no modules removed (and no processes killed:) ).

The 'none' was not put there by the current package. The file that
gets shipped with the current alsa-base package contains a line that
sets the variable to the null string.

Let's consider this a feature rather than a bug.

Nothing in the current package writes 'none'.

I have added that information to the comment text for the next release.
