[Pkg-alsa-devel] Bug#360069: alsamixer: displays change regardless of actual change

Package: alsa-utils
Version: 1.0.10+1.0.11rc2-1
Severity: minor

The whole of alsamixer doesn't check any return values from the control
setting routines, thus even if nothing was done because the driver returned
that it couldn't change the setting at the moment, the user feedback is that
she changed the control since the actual display is changed as if the
operation didn't fail.
