Unless 1.0.13 is getting released soonish, I would try to stick to
1.0.12 for the time being. It won't be long before Debian starts
freezing large parts of its packages prior to release, and I'd really
want to see etch releasing with a final ALSA release, not a candidate.

Elimar, how badly does this patch apply against .12?
