[Pkg-alsa-devel] Bug#434057: alsa-utils: init.d script confused by "XXX write TLV" message

Whenever I boot my system, alsa-utils will seem to be failing to start.

Cause is an apparently useless message that is printed if a comment.tlv
option is included in asound.state.

See the upstream bug report for additional information.
Maybe it would be worth considering to fix this in Debian in a next
upload.
