Package: libasound2-plugins
Version: 1.0.21-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

the Speex DSP plugin is mentioned in the Documentation:

/usr/share/doc/libasound2-plugins/speexdsp.txt

But following the example in there results in:

$ arecord -fdat -c1 -Dplug:my_pcm foo.wav
ALSA lib pcm.c:2171:(snd_pcm_open_conf) Cannot open shared library /usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_speex.so
arecord: main:608: audio open error: No such file or directory

grepping the changelog.Debian shows no mention of any speex related
changes. But the upstream changelog includes changes to the plugin, so
it must still be included. ;)

Yours
Marcus
