[Pkg-alsa-devel] Bug#567599: alsa-utils: alsactl restore fails since kernel upgrade

Since upgrade to 

gladys at seanconnery:~$ uname -a
Linux seanconnery 2.6.32-trunk-686 #1 SMP Sun Jan 10 06:32:16 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux

I get:

root at seanconnery:/home/gladys# alsactl restore
Unknown hardware: "VIA8237" "Analog Devices AD1888" "AC97a:41445368" "0x1043" "0x810d"
Hardware is initialized using a guess method

Tried with the previous kernel, same problem so far. I digged the web alittle and found:
