Actual 2.6.34 has 1.0.22.1. Well I think we should give *every*
kernel build the chance to compile the actual alsa drivers. It must
be just a small add to ben's patches to get it. I am not as
comfortable with kernel hacking than Ben is.

Jordi, it took 3 min. to create an ASCII changelog from alsa's html
changelog with the help of lynx and vim. If I am whimsy I'll create
a script, though. Else we could provide a netlink to alsa's home
page... But the changelogs here are only 2 to 3 versions back.

We should concentrate to the patches of Ben. To maintain these isn't
useful for the long term. We need patches which makes it possible to
build against Debian headers _and_ custom build kernels to push the
patch upstream. This will be a much more advantage. FYI configure
tests for RedHead, SuSE and other distro kernels ex Debian.....
