As you noticed the alsa-firmware package contains non-free packages
which are not supported by the Debian main repo.

As you noticed there was an idea to put the firmwre in
firmware-linux-nonfree but also not, because the firmware isn't
included in the linux-kernel.

This is not Debian

Ubuntu is not Debian.
