I get the same warning about midi not loading, but audacious
continues to load.  Probably two separate bugs.



libcares.so.2 is in package libc-ares2.

audacious-plugins-extra depends on libcurl3-gnutls.
The libcurl* packages have been built with libc-ares support
recently, and then dropped it again due to bugs.
Today it was dropped for #490624 #490539 and #490833.

With the non-libcares version of libcurl3-gnutls (7.18.2-7), I can
start audacious without libc-ares2.  Haven't tried with
yesterday's version of libcurl3-gnutls.
