Package: awstats
Version: 6.4-1sarge1
Severity: normal

After upgrading to 6.4-1sarge1, the GeoIP city plugin writes the
following error:

Can't call method "city" on an undefined value at
/usr/share/awstats/plugins/geoip_city_maxmind.pm line 378, <LOG> line
383.

Right at the beginning of awstats output. I looked at line 383 of my
logfile (and all the other lines it reports the problem for -- once per
logfile/configfile, the line numbers are completely different -- for one
logfile it's line 2, for another it's line 123 -- but the line numbers
are consistent for each logfile among runs. I did not rotate the logs).

These lines look perfectly normal to me, I also looked if there are no
similarities in lines before, no such problem is apparent. One line was
Googlebot, one Mozilla Firefox, one MSIE, some were some other different
bots.

I have also this packages installed:

ii libgeoip-dev 1.3.8-1 Development files for the GeoIP library
ii libgeoip1 1.3.8-1 A non-DNS IP-to-country resolver library

It worked before upgrade to 6.4-1sarge1 (but being it a coincidence is of
course possible).

   Juraj.
