Hi Bruce,

today I finally found the time to read your article "Other Linux
Distros' View of Ubuntu's Unity: It Ain’t Pretty" [1] and I musst admit
I am stunned about the following paragraph:

"The closest activity to packaging Unity appears to be the Ayatana
Packagers, a project to add Ubuntu's app-indicators to Debian. But the
project, which includes the filer of the Intent to Package for Unity,
appears only moderately active, and none of its members responded to
queries."

This is far from true, sorry.
You asked about Unity in a private mail to me (and others) on the
05/12/2011 and got a long reply from me and Adnan the next day
(Message-ID: <4DCCD547.7070106 at debian.org>).
So two members of the team took the time to answer you and you did write
that up as no response? Sorry, I don't buy this :)

A copy of our mail is attached to this mail, I expect you to read it and
update your article ASAP.

Kind regards
Evgeni Golov
